Brown-Nudes
PRO TIPS:
👉don’t go too light (it will wash you out and make your makeup look unbalanced). It can be tempting to reach for that really light, almost foundation-toned lippy colour, but they rarely suit anyone.
👉orangey-browns can make your teeth look yellow (and its especially more notable on fair skins), but can look excellent on olive or darker skin tones. Choose a brown that is more of a terracotta colour instead if you’re worried about your teeth!
👉cool browns (think that ashy grey brown look) can make you look sick or unwell - they only suit a very small portion of the population!
👉don’t forget the lip liner (it defines your lips and stops the lipstick feathering into the lines around your mouth). It also bring back some volume and can help correct any symmetry.
👉Choose a nude lipstick similar to your nipple colour 😳yes… your coloured bit of your nipples is a great indication of what colour will suit your lips best.
👉If you want to rock a brown-nude colour, choose a formula which is sheer or with a bit of shimmer and make sure to use warmer earthy colours for your blush, bronzer and eyeshadow!
